As of recent, I’ve had to really buckle down to finish a couple of classes. It’s stated in my bio that I’m going to school for Elementary Education and Special Education K-12 (okay, I think it’s stated).

A typical week for me looks like:

Morning Routine 45mins

Workout 1hr- 1hr 30min

School 3 – 4hr

Work 5 hr

Night routine 1hr

Rinse. Wash. Repeat.

Obviously, there’s quite a bit of commute time involved because I go to studios for workouts, the library for school, and another town for work.

The weekends typically escalate school to 8 hours, and workouts to 2 hours.

A few people cry, “It’s not fair, you’re only working 25 hours a week”. Okay, but I worked 50+ hours a week for 3.5 years… to make that happen. 🤷🏽‍♀️ You do what you gotta do.

There are some off weeks where 0 school work gets done, and I’m “eh” at work. This is called, “Decompression”. Mental health is important. Constantly learning new things and working with 4 very high energy boys — can take its toll. Rest is important.

Any-who, just thought I’d update in case anyone feels like maybe they’re not “doing” enough or “being” enough. Choose what matters to you — and make a schedule around those things. An important part of managing kids is managing yourself.
